Anthony Fontana

Anthony Fontana’s practice focuses on construction and commercial litigation, in addition to real estate litigation and transactions. Anthony represents contractors, developers, property owners, and homeowners in complex construction and real estate disputes and transactions. With a background in oilfield services and as general counsel for multiple companies, Mr. Fontana brings practical perspective to litigation that helps clients make the best business decisions when faced with a myriad of legal options.

Mr. Fontana has represented individual property owners and business owners in both court and before arbitral tribunals such as the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Fontana assists clients with acquiring real property and businesses, litigating ownership and partnership disputes, breaches of contract, and breaches of fiduciary duty.

Mr. Fontana is a multi-generation Texan, whose family settled in Texas before the Texas Revolution. In fact, Mr. Fontana is a descendant of Benjamin Briggs Goodrich, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. Mr. Fontana obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas. He then attended South Texas College of Law in Houston where he participated in appellate law advocacy and graduated magna cum laude. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fontana was in-house and general counsel to several oilfield and transportation services companies.

Mr. Fontana is married to his law school sweetheart and is a proud father of one.
